A groundbreaking recovery case has emerged from the Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Majra (Dehradun), highlighting the potential of Ayurvedic medicine in managing Cerebral Atrophy.

The patient, identified as Manoj (name changed), a 48-year-old man diagnosed with Cerebral/Cerebellar Atrophy, was previously considered untreatable by leading neurologists at AIIMS. Upon visiting the hospital’s OPD under the care of Dr. Navin Joshi (MD Ayurveda) on April 17, 2025, Manoj exhibited severe symptoms, including locked jaw muscles, speech impairment, and balance issues. His family had lost hope.

Under Dr. Joshi’s guidance, the patient underwent a specialized Panchakarma protocol, which included:

  • Kshirabala Taila Nasya

  • Shirodhara

  • Matra Basti

  • Maha Basti

  • Marma Therapy

The treatment commenced on April 20, 2025. By May 6 and May 10, assessments showed remarkable improvement: Manoj regained his voice, his jaw relaxed, and his body balance returned to near-normal.

Dr. Naveen Joshi credited the success to his dedicated team—Dr. Vijay, Dr. Aman, Dr. Akanksha, and Dr. Mayank—who continuously monitored and supported the treatment process.

This case stands as a strong testimony to the transformative power of Ayurveda, particularly Panchakarma therapy, in treating neurological disorders once deemed irreversible.
